الوصلة السيامية وتوصيلها بالصاعد الجاف واستخدامها في اطفاء الحرائق تستخدم الـوصلة السيامية Siamese connection كمصدر اضافي لاطفاء الحرائق ويتم توصيلها بسيارة الدفاع المدني لتضخ من خلالها المياة لاطفاء الحريق . تسمي الوصلة السيامية siamese connection بـ FDC = Fire Department Connection تتصل الوصلة السيامية siamese connection بما يسمي بالصاعد الجافdry riser يصل الي كل دور ويكون عبارة عن ماسورة 4″ متصلة بمضخة الحريق ويركب عليها الـ non return valve لعدم رجوع الماء المضغوط مرة اخري الي خارج النظام .. يسمي الصاعد الجاف dry riser بهذا الاسم لانة يكون خالي من المياة وتكون في نهاية الخط من الاعلي صمام تنفيس الهواء الاوتوماتيكي Air release valve ازالة الهواء من الخط عند ضغط المياة داخل الصاعد الجاف dry riser. فحتي اذا حدث الحريق وانتهي الماء من الخزان الموجود داخل البناية يتم توصيل الوصلة السامية siamese connection بسيارة الدفاع المدني لتغذية الرشاشات وحنفيات الحريق landing valve ذات مخرجين 2.5 بوصة داخلي:4 بوصة
